My Pathway and Plan 

Implementing a pathway and plan is incredibly important to successfully reaching goals. Through studying this unit, clear goals have been established; these include successfully completing my practical teaching experiences and meeting professional standards, enhancing my confidence and skills as an educator.

Inspiration Behind My Pathway

My pathway and plan are inspired by a desire to successfully pass all practical teaching experiences, grow and gain confidence in teaching and preparing lessons, and successfully meet all professional standards. 

Key Stages of My Plan

My pathway and plan can be summarised in three key stages: improve skills like time management and organisation, make it through practical experiences and pass all uni subjects, and begin teaching.

Challenges and Solutions

Some challenges I anticipate include maintaining a consistent level of effort in all subjects and assessments (not leaving tasks till the last minute) and needing to work full-time due to wages and studying full-time. I plan to overcome these by implementing effective time management strategies and seeking support when needed.

Alignment with Professional Standards

My pathway and plan align with the overall goals of Professional Standards Preparation and Reflection by focusing on key areas such as knowing your content and how to teach it (standard 2) and planning for and implementing effective teaching and learning (standard 3). These standards are imperative to reaching my goals and completing my plan. (AITSL, 2022)
