Feedback
We value feedback as an integral part of our growth and development. Here's how we gather and utilise feedback to enhance our professional standards, preparation, and reflection in education.
A major part of the learning process is the necessary evil of feedback, this is incredibly important to ensure that educators are constantly improving their skills and furthering their knowledge.

The Importance of Gathering Feedback from Tutors
Gathering feedback from peers and tutors is incredibly important to both personal and professional growth.
Receiving a non-biased insight into not only your work but also the issues that cannot be seen through your own eyes is instrumental to your growth.
In the initial stage of the unit, the feedback I received from my tutors was heavily focused on the improvement of my academic writing and also referencing. Through this feedback, further study and time were able to be allocated to ensuring improvements in both key areas (The University of Sydney, 2021).
The improvement of these aspects will support not only growth in the skills themselves but also the way in which information is accessed and comprehended.

The Importance of Gathering Feedback from Peers
Through gathering feedback from peers, valuable information is clearly given. Peer feedback is one of the greatest resources aside from tutor feedback.
Though studying through an online pathway to teaching provides limited opportunity for face-to-face or any interaction, the feedback received is relatable and necessary.

Utilising feedback for growth
Feedback contributes to better organisational skills and leveraging thorough prior knowledge and experience to meet professional standards.
